Overview


The Client, a UK telecommunications organisation, was seeking to expand its portfolio of services by moving into the B2B mobile market. The Client appointed PTS to assist with the Programme Management Office (PMO) specialists to assist with the development of a business case and future operating model for the new market offerings.

Summary


Although initially recruited for a short 12-week engagement, The Client’ extended PTS’s engagement on the project by nine months. As the programme expanded, PTS also provided the Client with additional staff to support the programme and deliver the business case for change. PTS leveraged core skills, expertise and experience in delivering cross-company changes. The significantly enhanced cross-business relationships and provided a common set of practices across various business units. The PMO improved project governance by providing the project with a structure and supporting documentation.
