Built upon a robust technology infrastructure, US insurance Company, W.R Berkley’s new office space fuels interaction and innovation within a new, iconic London skyscraper. With new communication and collaboration tools to hand, the workspace provides the company with improved methods and connecting and communicating within the workplace and on a global basis too.
Having worked with PTS on the base-build of its new European Headquarters, the PTS team could hit the ground running when it came to transforming W.R Berkley’s empty floor plates into a technologically advanced office space. The Client’s early engagement of PTS also ensured the team had an in-depth knowledge of the company’s visions and overall ambitions. The team then had ample time to find appropriate solutions aligned to the Client’s goals and consult with the Client and core stakeholders in detail and the technologies and processes to consider as the project progressed.
Some of the office’s new state-of-the-art technologies include room booking systems increased into the existing AV systems and discrete ceiling microphones which uphold the architectural vision of the Client’s meeting spaces. Staff can make use of the latest in video conferencing hardware and software, including face and movement recognition. These new technologies allow for an improved user experience and digital whiteboard facilities with single touch sharing and device mapping all help to provide frictionless collaboration experiences. Supporting the Client’s technology rich-environment is the fully future-proof network designed by PTS. The network infrastructure will allow not only the Client, but the building’s other tenants incorporate new technologies and systems for years to come.
