Overview

By 2010, PTS Consulting had a long-established relationship with the University of Greenwich – based around the Consultancy / Professional Services business. PTS had just completed a procurement exercise with the University to acquire a new telecommunications network to replace their analogue system and this project was already being supported by our Professional Services team.

Highlights

  • Appointment of dynamic Interim Head of IT to resolve project issues
  • Placement of two further resources to set up an internal PMO function
  • Placement of a Telecommunications Project Manager to support the project

“Due to the quality of resource delivered, PTS Resourcing was also invited to participate in further discussions centred on the delivery of IT programmes. As a result of these extended conversations, we placed 2 further resources to support the Interim Head of IT in setting up an internal PMO function to monitor and track projects with greater rigour.”

Summary

Crucially all deadlines were met, and the PTS Resourcing staff deployed were key to planning positive IT strategy change within the University.
