Credit Suisse
Credit Suisse, a global financial service company required PTS to help design the first of several Data centres for various locations around the world.
Location
London, UK
Overview
Credit Suisse asked PTS to help design the first of several Datacentres that it planned to locate around the world to support both local and global IT services. The Client wanted the design concept to be ‘design once and build many times’, and so this initial blueprint had to be versatile enough to satisfy the requirements of the other global Data centres. The UK Data centre was to initially comprise three separate ‘Halls’ with expansion space for another three ‘Halls’. Over 900 equipment cabinets and 348 cabling frames were to be installed, along with all the associated fibre optic and copper cable connectivity.
Highlights

Summary
PTS’ detailed design and ‘Invitation To Tender’ process enabled Credit Suisse to obtain and install an extremely high quality Structured Cabling System at a very competitive cost. The process also ensured that there was a minimum of changes to the scope of works throughout the project. The Client now has the first of its global Datacentres in place supporting its IT infrastructure requirements.
