The Client, a global law firm with Australian offices in Perth and Sydney, required assistance with both the fit out of and relocation to these offices. PTS was responsible for the structured cabling, audio-visual consultancy and project management. PTS worked closely with the local and global IT resources to ensure that all infrastructure such as telecommunications links, equipment rooms, wired and wireless networking and Audio Visual systems conformed with global corporate standards and industry best practice.
The Sydney project involved the churn and refurbishment of the principle client-facing floor and associated meeting spaces and audio visual facilities as well as an additional floor to facilitate internal restacking and expansion activities. The project included keeping the live equipment room operational in the middle of a building site as well as extraordinary architectural environments such as a vast open reception area with integrated audio visual presentation facilities. PTS was also engaged to provide Data Centre procurement (including price negotiation) and infrastructure consulting services for the client.
